v. Press STOP key.
w. Set CAM RATE (RPM) switch on Calibrator 11A to 1800.
x. Adjust pot next to 1800 CAM RATE switch position until first ring from outside on rotor
disk appears frozen in place under 60 Hz light.
y. Press SETUP key on 8500C/C+.
z. Key in 900 with numeric keys in BALANCE FREQUENCY field.
aa. Key in X2 as the times factor.
ab. Press ENTER soft key.
ac. Wait 10 seconds.
ad. Press START key.
ae. Verify that display indicates:
1800±2 RPM
0.8±0.08 IPS
af. Press STOP key.
ag. Press SETUP key.
ah. Select INPUT field with arrow keys.
ai. Key in 11 with numeric key for #7 TURBINE cable.
aj. Press ENTER soft key.
ak. Wait 10 seconds.
al. Press START key.
am. Verify that display indicates:
1800±2 RPM
0.8±0.08 IPS
an. Press STOP key.
ao. Set CAM RATE (RPM) switch on Calibrator 11A to 900.
ap. Press SETUP key on 8500C/C+.
aq. Key in 450 in BALANCE FREQUENCY field.
ar. Key in x2 as times factor.
as. Press ENTER soft key.
at. Wait 10 seconds.
au. Press START key.
av. Verify the display indicates:
900±1 RPM
0.4±0.04 IPS
aw. Press STOP key.
