NOTE: To undo mistaken entries, press the RESTORE soft key.
h. On same line, press right arrow key twice to select last number (called “times factor”) with
arrow keys.
i. Key in 2 as new times factor. This entry now reads: x 2.
j. Select BALANCE TYPE field with arrow keys.
k. Press CHANGE soft key to select <MAG PICKUP>.
l. Select <AUTO STOP> and press CHANGE soft key to select <MAN STOP>.
m. Select PHASE UNITS field with arrow keys.
n. Press CHANGE soft key to select <DEGREES>.
o. Select PICKUP field with arrow keys.
p. Press CHANGE soft key to select CHANNEL A.
q. Select INPUT field with arrow keys.
r. Key in <1> with numeric key.
s. Press ENTER soft key.
t. Wait 10 seconds.
u. Press START key.
v. Verify that display indicates (example in Figure 5-3):
