5.6 Troubleshooting Guide
If any test step fails during the functional tests or the calibration tests, or if a problem occurs during
operation, use the troubleshooting guide to determine the probable cause. Perform the solution steps in
the order they are presented, proceeding to the next step only if the problem has not been solved. The
troubleshooting guide isolates the problem to the field-replaceable component. If the unit still is not
functioning properly, return to Chadwick-Helmuth for repair.
This equipment contains voltages capable of causing injury or death. Remove power before
removing the covers and servicing the equipment.
Observe static discharge precautions. The circuit boards in this equipment contain
electrostatic-sensitive devices. Do not use magnetic tools when servicing the equipment and
avoid touching the microcircuits on the circuit boards.
