Why are flexconn commands not working after NOVRam reset on Honeywell Gateway?
    • A
      Anthony West MDSep 13, 2025
After a NOVRam reset, if the flexconn commands are not working for a particular flexline radar gauge, it means that the FlexConn address is wrongly configured for radar gauges in CIU 888. To resolve this: 1. Change the flexconn address using SmartView. 2. If the configuration has 8xx gauge type, change the gauge type to 990 and assign a non-used flexconn address. Then, revert the gauge type back to 8xx gauge type.

Why I am unable to perform manual switchover via Entis Pro on Honeywell Gateway?
    • L
      Lisa ArmstrongAug 25, 2025
If you are unable to perform a manual switchover via Entis Pro, there are a couple of potential causes: * The Sync Link cable between the CIU 888s might be disconnected. In this case, reconnect the Sync Link cable, wait for the initial synchronization to complete, and check the CIU 888 Web interface for an event log indicating that the system is ready for switchover. Then, try the manual switchover again via Entis Pro. * The CIU 888s in the redundant system setup might not be fully synchronized. Try restarting the secondary CIU 888.

How to fix 'Active session exists' message when uploading site configuration to Honeywell Gateway CIU 888?
    • A
      Alicia AllenAug 26, 2025
If you receive an “Active session exists” message when uploading a site configuration to CIU 888 using the Service tool or Migration tool, it means that you are already logged on to CIU 888. To resolve this, close any existing session with CIU 888 before uploading the site configuration again.

Why does the Entis Pro Tank Detail window display a blank screen for Honeywell Gateway?
    • F
      francisco61Nov 26, 2025
If the Entis Pro Tank Detail window is displaying nothing (blank), here are some possible causes and solutions: * The INI files may not have been updated. Update the INI files using the Migration tool. Then, reload the INI files in Entis Pro using the Entis Pro CIU+ Links application. * There may be a mismatch between Tank and CIU 888 CRCs within CIU 888 due to database corruption, which can be observed in the Logs window of the CIU 888 Web interface with a red ring of light. Perform a Reset to Factory Settings operation via the CIU 888 display and upload a new site configuration to CIU 888 using the Service tool/ Migration tool. * Entis Pro may not be functioning properly. Try shutting down and restarting Entis Pro. Alternatively, shut down Entis Pro, replace the Entis Pro default ...

Why is there a diagnostics difference in LCD and Web Interface for TRL/2 Field port on Honeywell Gateway?
    • D
      Dylan CookSep 14, 2025
If there's a diagnostics difference in the LCD and Web Interface for the TRL/2 Field port, it indicates improper configuration of TRL/2 data input. Check that the device slave ID is configured correctly in the TRL/2 data input under the Field port and configure it properly.

Why doesn't density dip work with default timeout on Honeywell Gateway?
    • M
      Matthew FarrellSep 7, 2025
If the density dip is not working when the Field port has the default timeout configured (250ms), it's because the density dip command is being aborted due to timeouts on the 1200 baud rate BPM lines. To resolve this, increase the field port timeout to 300-350 ms.

What to do if Change Password option doesn't appear when resetting Honeywell Gateway?
    • R
      Robert HolmesSep 8, 2025
If the Change Password option does not appear while resetting the factory settings, this could be due to a power disruption during the factory reset. The factory reset must be re-done, ensuring that the Change Password option is displayed this time.

Why are element position values zero in Honeywell Gateway temperature profile record?
    • H
      Henry LawrenceSep 23, 2025
If, in a temperature profile record, the element Position values are zero in Modbus host for TRL2 990 with VITO, it indicates improper configuration in the gauge. Ensure that the gauge is properly configured.

Why is the Honeywell Gateway CIU 888 ring of light orange?
    • A
      ahardinAug 31, 2025
If the CIU System Status or Ring of light is orange, this indicates a warning that the compact flash data free space is less than the required limit (below 300MBs). To resolve this, clear the log files by accessing the CIU 888 web interface (https:// 192.168.1.1), entering your credentials, clicking 'clear logs', and then restarting the CIU 888.
