9.2.3. Meter Enclosure
The meter comes with a metallic enclosure to safeguard various metering components. The
enclosures are designed for robustness and secure meter operation. They are also designed
to withstand several adverse operational conditions. You can choose a meter enclosure as per
operational necessity.

Check for enclosures in Appendix A. a detail of models with various enclosures is mentioned
in Table 1. Meter Characteristics. Kindly refer to the mounting instructions guide for more
information on handling and using the metallic enclosure.
The enclosure is equipped with a toughened glass window to view the front panel display
parameters as well as the LED signals. The enclosure body has terminals to attach a ground
wiring for safe operation, the terminal must be utilized for grounding.
This also ensures the operational safety of the E-Mon® meter. Please refer Section 3.2.3 for
details on Metallic Enclosure.
