Setting Tamper Detection
The HD4DIP(X) camera can be configured to detect three types of sabotage detection via
the Video Analytics view (see Figure 5-5): blinding the camera, blurring the video display,
and tampering with the camera field of view. Each setting has three threshold levels: high
(80%), medium (50%), and low (30%). When these thresholds are exceeded, an alarm
message displays on the video display to indicate that a possible camera tampering has
occurred (see Figure 5-6).
When the following conditions are applicable, the tamper detection features must be
manually disabled to avoid raising false alarms:
During the configuration of the video display
While text is overlaid on the video
If the video display becomes too dark
