SystemFanRegulationisacongurationthatrequiresTrueSTEAMtomonitortheHVACsystemfanandmake
surethefanisonifhumidityisneeded.Thishelpsensurethatairowwilldistributehumidityintothelivingspace,
andpreventswatercondensationintheduct.Therearetwowaystoconguresystemfanregulation,depending
on the humidity control used:
CONFIGURATION 1• –Usingathermostatwithintegratedhumiditycontrol
CONFIGURATION 2• –Usingahumidistatseparatefromthethermostat
Which is right for you?
CONFIGURATION 1 — using a thermostat
with an integrated humidity control such as
VisionPRO IAQ or Prestige — is ideal for
contractors who:
Want integrated control of the humidifier and
HVACsysteminthelivingspace.
Want the system fan to turn on immediately
uponacallforhumidity.

separate from the thermostat such as H8908

Use a humidity control separate from

sentoutoftheTrueSTEAMGFterminaluntil
thewatertemperaturereaches176°F(just
beforeboiling).
