1. Network must provide DHCP server (or use dedicated Network

2. Recommend that Network provide firewall protection from
unauthorized access.
3. If the locations are in different Geographic ti
me zones, it is
recommended that each time zone be ser

rtual Loop". The reason fo
r this is, all controllers on
the same Ethernet Vir
tual loop must be set to
the same

5. Controllers that are on a different subnetwork than the Primary
(which is likely the case for loops across multiple locations) will
