Maximum strip dose
The tesa UV-Strip may only be used in the specified measurement range. If
the dose entry is too high, the measurement results will be faulty. In This
case a warning message appears in the display. Consider also the data in
the diagram “Recommended minimum line speed”. It is not recommended
to use the strip outside of this specification.
After-colouring
After the strip has been irradiated with UV light, the final colour of the strip
only appears after about 5 minutes. During this time, changes in the meas-
ured value of a few percent are likely. For precise measurements, the strip
should be read off between 5 Minutes and 2 hours after exposure to UV.
Storage conditions
Unused strips must be kept in a cool, dry place (<25°C) and may only be
removed from the protective packaging immediately before use.
Please refer to the information from tesa® SE for preconditioning
chapter 5.3.1 p. 16.
