12. UV-Scan with accumulator (opt.)
12.1. General
The UV-Scan with integrated accumulator can be operated with the mains adapter or with its
accumulator. The UV-Scan is only supplied by its accumulator, if the UV-Scan is not con-
nected to the mains supply.
12.2. Charging the accumulator
When the UV-Scan is connected to the mains supply the charging of the accumulator starts,
independent if the UV-Scan is switched on or off. If the accumulator is completely charged
the charging stops automatically. The accumulator has an operating time of two hours is
fully loaded.
During the charging the UV-Scan can be used.
If the UV-Scan is switched on, the charging is shown as a moving bar at the left side of the
display. If the charging is done the bar disappears.
NOTE
During the charging the area of the operator keyboard
gets warm
NOTE
If the accumulator does not charge, there are the fol-
lowing reasons:
The accumulator is already charged
The operating temperature is outside of the allowed
range
There is an error, and you have to take contact with
the Costumer Services from Dr. Hönle AG
