8.2. Assign name to measurement position
Every position number can be given a name for easier identification of the measurement po-
sition. 10 characters are available for this.
Set the required measurement
position (see chapter "Setting
the measurement position")
Using the cursor keys, select
the "Name" field and enter the
new name
8.3. Assign comment for measurement position
A 2-line comment can be entered to provide additional information on the
measurement position. this is automatically preset when the measurement
position is called up.
Set the required measurement
position (see chapter "Setting
the measurement position")
With the cursor keys, select
one of the two comment lines
and enter new comment.
If the measured value memory is used, the two comment lines can also be
used to save further information about the measured value, such as speed,
lamp capacity, distance, etc. in the measured value memory. With every
"Save" (see chapter on measured values memory), the two comment lines
are also saved in the measured value memory; they are then available for
later evaluation at the PC.
NOTE
For simple configuration of all measurement points, we
recommend that the optional PC software is used;
however, configuration can also be carried out at the
device itself.
