4 Verify card reader installation
This chapter describes the methods that can be used to verify the installation of external and internal
HPAC Secure Printing card readers.
NOTE: If the green light on the card reader does not come on, ensure that the HPAC software license
is installed.
NOTE: If an error message (such as no ID list. Contact Admin) displays on the device, configure the
local list or LDAP authentication. See the HP Access Control Administrator Guide for details.
