Mylar shielding foil kit (for use only in models with a WWAN module) L14793-001
Before removing the Mylar shield, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is o or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the tablet.
3. Disconnect the power from the tablet by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the tablet.
4. Remove the display panel assembly (see Display assembly on page 32).
Remove the Mylar shield:

Peel the Mylar shield o the tablet (1), while holding down the M.2 solid-state drive cover (2).
IMPORTANT: Be sure to hold down the M.2 solid-state drive cover, or it may also be disengaged with
the Mylar shield, which can result in disconnection of one of the antenna cables from the WLAN module.
Reverse this procedure to install the Mylar shield.
