0016-0002-0005 Top Heating - Build bed temperature not reached
Temperature camera detected that system cannot reach a uniform temperature in the build bed.
Suggested steps:
● Check that the lens of the thermal camera is clean. If there are any doubts, take a picture of it and
send t
o HP support to confirm. See
Clean the thermal camera glass on page 163.
● Check that not only the temperature (20-30°C) but also humidity (30-70%) conditions are within
specifications. Inadequat
e ambient temperature can prevent the powder from reaching the target
temperatures.
● From the front panel, go to Settings → Utilitites → System Tools → System Checks → Check
Exhaust to verify that the external extraction system works correctly if one is installed. The
e
xtraction should be adjusted to the values mentioned in the site preparation guide. Excessive
extraction could cause an increase in the airflow through the print chamber, resulting in more
intense cooling of the powder.
● Ensure that the top heating filter is in good state and replace it if it is dirty or older than 6 months.
