Suggested steps:
● Remove the corresponding Printhead 1/2/3 using the extraction tool and clean the contacts on the
P
rinthead side and carefully on the Carriage side as described in the User Guide or shown in the
video:

● Additionally, clean the inside and the bottom of the Carriage as described in the User Guide.
● While the Printhead is removed from its position in the Carriage, check the foam of the
under
carriage protector for damage from below and above the Carriage, clean very carefully if
needed and take pictures of it.
● In the diagnostic mode, perform the 0085-01 “Check electronics” for each of the Printhead
In
terconnect boards and take a picture of the front panel in case an error occurs.
● If the error reappears swap the corresponding Printhead with one of the other two positions to see
if the err
or stays at the position or moves with the Printhead. If the issue moves with the Printhead,
replace it.
● After performing all the checks above and if it was possible to correct the found issues try to print
again.
If the issue cannot be fixed, no issues are found, or the system error reappears in the next print, then
open a case with HP suppor
t. Provide details of the findings and actions taken from the above steps,
along with the images.
