Planning an ACL Application
4. Permit the hosts in the range of 10.10.11.1 - 30.
5. Allow the implicit deny (automatically present in all ACLs) to deny all
other traffic, which will automatically include the hosts in the range
10.10.10.32 - 255.
ProCurve(config)# access-list 1 permit 10.10.10.1/24
ProCurve(config)# access-list 1 permit 10.10.12.1/24
ProCurve(config)# access-list 1 deny host 10.10.11.31
ProCurve(config)# access-list 1 permit 10.10.11.1/27
ProCurve(config)# show access-list 1
Every standard ACL has at least two ACEs;
the first ACE that you configure, and the
implicit deny any ACE that follows all other
