Displaying ACL Data
Note This information also appears in the show running display. If you executed write
memory after configuring an ACL, it appears in the show config display.
For example, if you assigned a standard ACL with an ACL-ID of “1” to filter
inbound traffic on port 10, you could quickly verify this assignment as follows:
Indicates that a standard ACL with
the ID of “2” is assigned to filter
inbound traffic on port 7.
Indicates that a standard ACL with
an ID of “1” is assigned to filter
inbound traffic on port 3, and that
another standard ACL with an ID of
“2” is assigned to filter inbound
traffic on port 7).

Displaying the Content of a Specific ACL
This command displays a specific ACL configured in the running config file in
an easy-to-read format.

Syntax: show access-list < acl-name-string >
Display detailed information on the content of a specific ACL
configured in the running-config file.
