Power supply
Follow these steps to remove the power supply:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 17).
2. Position the computer with the rear panel toward you.
3. Press down and hold the power supply release latch (1).
4. Remove the power supply (2) by sliding it out of the computer.
To test the power supply:
1. Remove the power supply from the computer.
2. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
3. Connect power cord to the power supply (1).
4. If the power supply fans (2) turn on and the built-in self-test (BIST) light (3) illuminates, the power supply is
good and the power supply does not need to be replaced.
To install the power supply, slide it into the computer until it latches into place.
