Optical drive
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 17).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 22).
3. Remove the interior upper cover (see Interior covers on page 24).
4. Disconnect the optical drive cables from the optical drive rear panel (1).
5. Release the optical drive by lifting up on the drive release bar (2).
6. Press on the optical drive rear panel (3).
7. Remove the optical drive (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the optical drive.
