CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all bays are populated
with either a component or a blank.
Procedure
1. Release the cable management arm to access the rear panel.
2. Remove the blank.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the power supply or power supply blank to
cool before touching it.
3.
Insert the power supply into the power supply bay until it clicks into place.
4. Connect the power cord to the power supply.
5. Route the power cord.
Use the cable management arm and best practices when routing cords and cables.
6. Connect the power cord to the power source.
7. Observe the power supply LED.
