Cause
• The DIMM is not installed or seated properly.
• The DIMM has failed.
Action
1. Reseat the DIMM.
2. Update the system ROM to the latest version.
3. If the issue still exists, then replace the DIMM.

Symptom
• Performance is degraded.
• The memory LED is amber.
• ECC errors occur with no other symptoms.
Cause
• The DIMM is not installed or seated properly.
• The DIMM has failed.
Action
1. Update the system ROM to the latest version.
2. Replace the DIMM.
