The battery switch of the battery cabinet must be disconnected. When there are multiple
battery strings connected in parallel, all battery switches need to be disconnected. Ensure that
all battery switches are disconnected during replacement.
Tools: electroprobe, insulation gloves, Phillips screwdriver, multimeter.
Materials: A spare battery current sensor of the same model is available and functional.
The battery current sensor is damaged or faulty and cannot work.
The figures are for reference only. The actual product appearance prevails.
Procedure
Step 1 Determine the position of the faulty battery current sensor, and open the corresponding
cabinet door.
Step 2 Remove the front panel of the battery cabinet circuit breaker using a Phillips screwdriver, as
shown in Figure 5-18.
Step 3 Switch a multimeter to the DC voltage mode to measure the voltage between positive and
negative copper bars at the upper part of the battery switch. If the voltage is lower than 36 V
DC for 1 minute, replace the battery current sensor.
Step 4 Remove the two positive and negative battery cables under the battery circuit breaker, as
shown by (1) in Figure 5-23.
