● When the server is fully congured with PSUs, if the other PSU is working
properly and the rated power is greater than or equal to the rated power of the
server, you can directly remove the PSU without powering o the server.
Removing all power cables without powering o the server may damage user
programs or unsaved data
● When only one PSU is
congured, removing the power cable without powering
o the server may damage user programs or unsaved data.
Step 4 Undo the velcro strap that secures the power cable. See Figure 5-19.

Step 5 Remove the power cable from the PSU to be replaced. See Figure 5-20.
