Ensure that you read and understand all notices for IBM Storage Scale System 6000.
Attention: Only a trained person must install, remove, or replace the eld replaceable units (FRU).
CAUTION: To avoid personal injury, disconnect the hot-swap, air-moving device cables before
removing the fan from the device. (C024)
CAUTION:
Turn off or remove the fan’s connection(s) to power before attempting to service the fan. Ensure
the fan has stopped moving before servicing. (L020)
CAUTION:
Only a trained personnel must remove the covers to access the inside of the system.
Enclosure Integrity
Access covers are intended only for occasional removal.
Follow documented procedures when opening during live or temporary service.
When service is complete, promptly reinstall all covers, lids, and/or doors for correct operation.

CAUTION: Only trained service personnel may replace this battery. The battery contains lithium.
To avoid possible explosion, do not burn or charge the battery.
Do Not:
Throw or immerse into water
Heat to more than 100 degrees C (212 degrees F)
Repair or disassemble
Exchange only with the approved part. Recycle or discard the battery as instructed by local
regulations. (C002)
CAUTION: Risk of re or explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect battery. Dispose of
used batteries according to the instructions.
