A single MTM 5149-F48 enclosure with 24 or 48 NVMe-attached drives serves as the data storage
component of the performance conguration.

Drives
IBM Storage Scale System 6000 supports industry-standard 2.5-inch NVMe-attached drive options.
The following storage capacities are supported:
• 3.84 TB, 7.68 TB, 15.36 TB, and 30.72 TB for NVMe-attached drives
Drives are hot swappable from the front of the enclosure.
