Note: Make sure that both rails are mounted at the same vertical position on both sides of the rack.

Installing enclosures (IBM SSR task)
Following your enclosure location plan, install the IBM Storage Scale System 6000 system.
CAUTION:
To lift an assembled IBM Storage Scale System 6000 system, you must use a mechanical lift or
involve four people. Do NOT attempt to reduce the enclosure weight by temporarily removing
server components from the enclosure.
Install an IBM Storage Scale System 6000 system only onto the IBM Storage Scale System 6000
system rails supplied with the enclosure.
Load the rack from the bottom up to ensure rack stability. Empty the rack from the top down.
To install an enclosure, complete the following steps:
1. Lift the system by using a mechanical lift or involving four people.
