Weight of expansion enclosure SAS drives
The SAS drives are shipped in a separate package from the 2145-92F expansion
enclosure. The enclosure can support up to 92 SAS drives; however, the quantity
varies depending on the number of drives ordered.
Table 12 summarizes the weight of the SAS drives that are supported in the
2145-92F expansion enclosure. SAN Volume Controller 2145-DH8 and SAN Volume
Controller 2145-SV1 systems that are running software level 7.8 support the
expansion enclosure.

Weight increases as FRUs are installed
The 2145-92F expansion enclosure supports up to 92 SAS drives. As Table 13 on
page 48 shows, substantial weight is added to the enclosure when all drives are
installed.
