3.3 Operator Functions (Operator Code or above required)
Enter Operator Mode from the MAIN MENU (or CODE). When the OPERATOR CODE is entered (default = 0), this enables the RESET,
SOUNDER SILENCE, and ISOLATE buttons. The unit is placed in the UNLOCK state, as shown by the flashing UNLOCK LED. Otherwise the
Character Display will be normal. The unit will revert to its normal state after 5 minutes or by pressing the MAIN MENU button again. Three
button functions become available. These are:
RESET Clears down all latched Alarms and Faults. Current Alarms or Faults will remain. (See note 1)
SOUNDER SILENCE The internal Sounder is turned off for the condition that caused it. New Alarm events will re-
activate it. To disable the Sounder entirely, see under Configuration (page 22).
ISOLATE Fault Reporting via the Fault Relays is disabled. Otherwise the unit functions normally. While in
this mode, the ISOLATE and GENERAL FAULT indicators are on. The ISOLATE button toggles the
Unit between ISOLATED and NORMAL operation, as shown by the ISOLATED indicator (See note
2).
Note 1: The FireTracer can also be reset remotely by applying 24 volts to the remote reset input on the main I/O PCB (refer to diagram on
page 15)
Note 2: If the unit is isolated, then returned to the Normal, LOCKED state (by pressing MAIN MENU) the Operator will need to re-enter
OPERATOR CODE in order to cancel the ISOLATED state
