Check the DMD Bias Setting on the DMD Label
The projector must be disassembled to check the DMD bias setting. If the projector is assembled, see
Removing and replacing the controller ECA on page 40.
Once you remove the controller ECA, you can see the DMD label.
Each DMD has its bias setting marked on a label that is affixed to the rear of the DMD case. The example
below indicates a bias setting of E .
For the LP340 and LP340B, the setting is A, B, C, or D. The setting is always listed at the end of the
second line of numbers.
For the LP350, the setting is B, C, D, or E .
Once you have this information, you can check and adjust the bias setting on the controller ECA.
