In MD580 series AC drives, communication extension cards are not supported by hardware,

4.5.2 Installing Expansion Cards
The AC drive is equipped with six field bus cards, including Modbus‑RTU, PROFIBUS
DP, CANopen, PROFINET IO, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet/IP, and two PG cards. The
installation positions are shown as follows. When installing the expansion cards,
remove the front cover of the AC drive.
