3. Now you can run the PHLASH utility from the bootable floppy disk. Refer to the
README.TXT file included with the BIOS update for detailed instructions.
4. After the update process has completed and the system reboots, verify that the new BIOS
version appears onscreen.
NOTE You must enter BIOS Setup and reset the speed of your processor(s) after flashing the BIOS.
For more information, see the section “Setting the CPU Speed” earlier in this chapter.
You must also reset the Secondary Master BIOS parameter to Auto. For more information,
see the section “Primary Master, Primary Slave, Secondary Master, Secondary Slave” earlier
in this chapter.
