9.1.1Short-termstorage
Incaseaseriousfaultisdetected,anumberofsafety
mechanismsarebuiltintoyourmobilitydeviceandwill
protectit.Thepowermodulepreventsyourmobilitydevice
fromdriving.
Whenthemobilitydeviceisinsuchaconditionandwhile
waitingforrepair:
1.Switchoffpower .
2.Disconnectthebatterypack.
Refertothecorrespondingchapteraboutdisconnecting
thebatterypack,ALBERespritusermanual.
3.Contactyourauthorizeddealer.

Incaseyourmobilitydeviceisnotusedforalongerperiod
oftime,youneedtoprepareitforstoragetoensurea
longerlifeforyourmobilitydeviceandbatterypack.
Storingmobilitydeviceandbatterypack
•Werecommendtostorethemobilitydeviceata
temperatureof15°to25°C,avoidhotandcold
extremeswhenstoringtoensurealongservicelifeof
theproductandbatterypack.
•Thecomponentsaretestedandapprovedforgreater
temperaturerangesasdetailedbelow:
–Allowabletemperaturerangetostorethemobility
deviceis-40°upto65°C.
–Allowabletemperaturerangetostorebatteriesis
-25°upto65°C.
•Evennotbeingused,batterypackdischargethemselves.
Bestpracticeistodisconnectthebatterysupplyfrom
thepowermoduleifstoringthemobilitydevicelonger
