CANCEL switch
Press the main switch again to set it to
"OFF". The cruise control indicator light will
go out.
If the cruise control is canceled
automatically by the system, "Cruise
control canceled." is displayed on the MID
for approximately 5 seconds. After that, the
cruise control indicator light goes out.
The cruise control is canceled in the
following cases.
• When the brake pedal is depressed.
• When depressing the clutch pedal
(manual transmission model).
• When the vehicle speed decreases to
approximately 30 km/h (20 MPH) or
less (type 1) or approximately 40 km/h
(25 MPH) or less (type 2)
• When there is an abnormality in the
engine control system.
• When shifting gears.
• When operating the "CANCEL"
switch.
• When the vehicle has been
temporarily stopped and the selector
lever has been placed in the "N"
position (automatic transmission
model).
• When the electronic stability control
(ESC) or traction control system (TCS)
is activated.
