PRE-DRIVING OPERATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS
CAUTION
• Before opening the door, carefully check all areas around the vehicle for safety,
especially the area at the rear of the vehicle. If you abruptly open the door, it
may be struck by a vehicle, etc. coming from behind.
• Exercise caution when opening or closing doors, as strong winds or steep
slopes may cause doors to open or close suddenly.
• When you close the door from inside the vehicle, check that the door is fully
closed. If the door is not properly closed, it may open while the vehicle is in
motion.
• Before leaving the vehicle, be sure to stop the engine and lock the doors. Never
leave the key in the vehicle.
