Operating the Hill Descent Control
NOTE
• In manual transmission models,
gearshift lever positions "1", "2" or
"R" are recommended. In automatic
transmission models, selector
lever positions "D" or "R" are
recommended.
1. The hill descent control will be
activated when the hill descent control
switch is pressed.
When the hill descent control is
activated, the hill descent control
indicator light located in the instrument
panel will come on.
2. In manual transmission models, place
the gearshift lever in a position other
than "N" and drive the vehicle.
In automatic transmission models,
place the selector lever in a position
other than "P" or "N" and drive the
vehicle.
