Select appropriate engine and gear oils in accordance with the tables below. It is also
important to select the viscosity appropriate for the temperature at which your vehicle
operates. Use the following tables for making correct selections.

*
1: When starting aids (oil pan heater, block heater, etc.) are used, grade 10W-xx oils can be used at an ambient
temperature as low as -30°C (-22°F).
*
2: Use is possible at ambient temperatures of up to 45°C (113°F) in the case of Isuzu genuine oils or other
recommended oils of grade xxW-30.
*
3: Single grade oils are only applied to engines that conform to Euro II emission standard and other less severe
emission standards.

NOTE
In extremely low temperatures, engine starts may be difficult when SAE 10W-30
or higher viscosity grade engine oils are used. Because of this, use of SAE
5W-30 engine oil is recommended.
Higher viscosity grade engine oils may be better for when the vehicle is driven
at high speeds or when it is under extreme load conditions.
