Take Your Child with You When You Leave the Vehicle

• Do not leave a child alone in a
vehicle. Children could operate the
vehicle's controls and cause an
unexpected accident.
Also, the interior of the vehicle could
become dangerously hot when
heated by the sun, possibly leading
to serious health hazards, such as
heatstroke and dehydration, and
death in the worst case.
Do Not Allow Children to Put Their Head or Hands Out the
Windows
WARNING
• Do not allow children to put their
head, hands, or other parts of their
bodies out of windows, regardless
of whether the vehicle is moving or
stationary. Doing so is dangerous
because child could be hit by other
vehicles, etc. from outside the
vehicle.
