IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
ActivationoftheeCallSystem
When the power mode is switched to "ON" (models with passive entry and start
system) or when the starter switch is turned to the "ON" position (models without
passive entry and start system), the indicator light will come on red for 3 to 4 seconds.
Then, the indicator light comes on green for 4 seconds, and then it turns off if there is
no problem with the eCall system. After that, it is possible to operate the eCall system.
NOTE
• When the power mode is "ON" (models with passive entry and start system) or
when the starter switch is in the "ON" position (models without passive entry
and start system), the eCall system constantly performs the self-diagnostics
described below. The eCall system can be operated even during the self-
diagnostics.
- Receiving signals from the GNSS
- Calculating the time, speed, driving direction, and location of the vehicle
ADVICE
• If the indicator light comes on red and the buzzer sounds, the eCall system is in
an abnormal condition. Contact the nearest Isuzu Dealer.
