Basic Operation

• Before connecting the cables, ensure that the instrument power switch is

off and the main switch of the AC power input (distribution box) is off.

• Before connecting 3 single instruments to the AC distribution box, ensure

that the distribution box capacity is sufficient. Refer to the corresponding

specifications for the AC input parameters of a single instrument.

For 3U models, up to 10 units of the same model can be connected in parallel.

Taking three 3U single instruments (with operation panel) as an example, the

steps for parallel operation are as follows.

For a parallel connection between a master unit (with operation panel) and N

slave units (without operation panel), refer to the IT6000 Parallel Assembly

Instruction or the IT6000 Cabinet Assembly Instruction.

1. Ensure that the power switches of the three units and the main switch of the

AC power distribution box are off.

2. Refer Figure 5–1 Wiring connection diagram to connect three units.
