4.3 Communicating in DSC (Digital Selective Call) Mode
(3) Displaying Received Messages for Which Acknowledgment is Re-
quested and Work Channel is Specified
OPERATION
An alarm sounds when a message
is received.
• The MESSAGE RECEIVED Display appears
and the message is displayed.
• Press
STOP
to stop the alarm.
TIP
• The controller automatically enters DSC mode
on CH70, the OTHERS ACKNOWLEDGE-
MENT CALL Display appears, and an acknowl-
edgment is automatically transmitted.
• When transmission is completed, TRANSMIT-
TED appears.
• The alarm automatically stops when the work
channel Status Display appears.
Press
STOP
.
The alarm stops.
TIP
• When the controller in use has priority, the
alarm of the main unit and all remote controllers
stop when
STOP
is pressed, but if the controller
in use does not have priority, only the alarm of
the controller in use stops.
• When the Status Display of the work channel
appears, the alarm automatically stops.
The Status Display of the work
channel appears automatically in
10 seconds.
The OTHERS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT CALL
Display disappears and the work channel Status
Display appears.
TIP
• When the handset is picked up before the work
channel Status Display appears, the display
appears immediately.
• Pressing
STOP
on the remote controller which
has priority shows the work channel Status
Display.
