On the configuration page, you can use the drop-down
menu in the bottom right corner to configure ports you are
not physically connected to. Select the port to configure
and then save the changes. These configurations will then
be set for when you physically connect with that specific
port.
This affords you a certain amount of flexibility in the field. If
you have multiple uses for the Geode and would prefer not
to reconfigure it each time you switch tasks, the Geode can
be configured per connection type for each specific task.
For example, here are three different possible use cases for
the same Geode:
■ Use Case 1: Mounted on a pole for data collection on foot
in heavy tree canopy.
□ Bluetooth wireless connection settings optimized for
slow travel and GNSS (more potential satellites in view
through the trees)
