1.17.1 Analysis Flow Chart
In case of trouble, perform troubleshooting using the following flow chart.

Played tape defect.
Check RF envelope.
•Is waveform flat?
•Are SUP and TU pulses
continuous?
Play cleaning tape.
Drum or PB CD defect.
Play moving image.
Is monitored video OK?
Digital processing circuitry
(DV Main) defect.
