7.2 Replacing the antenna
Requirement:
• Outside shield removed
Procedure:
1. Remove the two screws M4 (57) on the inside of the
outside shield (8).
2. Remove the rectangular intermediate circuit board
(12).
3. Pull the antenna (1) forwards at the same time.
4. Replace the antenna or antenna circuit board (2).
5. NOTE: when assembling, make sure that the plug-
in pins are an exact fit in the upper sleeves. The
lower sleeves remain free.
Place the rectangular intermediate circuit board on
the antenna on the inside of the outside shield.
6. Tighten both screws M4.
7. Mount the outside shield.
7.3 Replacing the e-module
Requirement:
• Inside shield removed
Procedure:
1. Remove the antenna and battery cables from the e-
module (15).
2. Remove the screw M3 (58) from the e-module.
3. Tilt the e-module forwards approx. 10 mm and lift it
clear.
4. Replace the e-module.
5. Secure the e-module using screw M3.
6. Connect the antenna and battery cables for the e-
module.
7. Mount the inside shield.
