WHEN USING THE 3-POINT
HITCH
1. Use the 3-point hitch only with
equipment designed for 3-point
hitch usage.
2. When using a 3-point hitch mount-
ed implement, be sure to install
the proper counterbalance weight
on the front of the tractor.
3. When transporting on the road,
set the implement lowering control
in the "LOCK" position to hold the
implement in the raised position.

before servicing any part that may
have become hot while the tractor
was running.
3. You must always stop the engine
before refueling the tractor. Avoid
overlling the tractor or spilling the
fuel.

In order to service your tractor you
must park it on a flat level surface,
set the parking brake, place the gear
shift lever in neutral and stop the en-
gine.

and ames away from the battery
and fuel tank. The battery pres-
ents an explosive hazard because
it gives off hydrogen and oxygen
… especially when recharging.
