CHANGING FRONT AXLE
CASE OIL (N)
(1) Oil Filler Plug (2) Drain Plug
1. To drain the used oil, remove the
right and left drain plugs and fill-
ing plug at the front axle case and
drain the oil completely into the oil
pan.
2. After draining, reinstall the drain
plugs securely.
3. Remove the oil level checking plug
on the left of the front axle.
4. Add new oil to the specied level
through the oil ller.
5. Wait at least 15 minutes to allow
the oil ow to the bevel case be-
fore checking the oil level .
6. Add oil as necessary and tight-
en the oil ller plugs and oil level
checking plug.

ADJUSTING BRAKE PEDAL(O)
Adjust the brake pedal free play pe-
riodically. Refer to the “ Maintenance
schedule chart” for checking interval.
The brake pedal can be adjusted as
follows:
1. Release the parking brake and un
lock the pedal inter-lock.
2. Slightly depress the pedals by
hand to measure the free play.
