To avoid personal injury, be
sure to stop the engine before
changing the oil or replacing
the lter.
Check the engine oil level be-
fore every operation of the
tractor. If the engine oil is in-
sufficient, the engine can be
damaged, and this is not cov-
ered by warranty. Be sure to
add the engine oil when its lev-
el is below the lower limit of
the oil dipstick.
Do not dispose of used oil and
oil lter into drainage and oth-
er places not designated by
regulations. Observe applica-
ble regulations when dispos-
ing used oil and lters.
Use only specified engine oil
and KIOTI genuine lter to in-
sure smooth operation and du-
rability of the engine.

REPLACING TRANSMISSION
FLUID AND FILTER (M)
The transmission fluid should be
changed if it is contaminated or after
the transmission is serviced or every
400 hours of operation. When chang-
ing the transmission uid, make sure
to change the uid lter. However, re-
place the lter only at initial 50 hours
and every 200 hours operation after-
ward.
1. Park the tractor on a level ground
and start the engine to warm it up.
2. Stop the engine, apply the parking
brake and wait until the oil cooled
down.

3. To drain the used uid, place the
oil container under the transmis-
sion case and remove the drain
plug to drain used uid. If the uid
does not ow out freely, unscrew
the breather plug on the side of
the hydraulic cylinder on the left
of the top link bracket to facilitate
drainage. (Ref to next page) Rein-
stall the drain plugs securely after-
ward.
4. Unscrew the fluid filter from the
rear right section on the tractor us-
ing a lter wrench.
