6. DELIVERY AND TRANSPORT
Scope of delivery:
EVO-T+ AHU
HMI control panel 1 pc.
Communication cable (≈3mb) 1pc.
Power cable (≈1.7mb) 1pc.
Operation and maintenance manuals
The unit is protected against mechanical damage during
transport by polystyrene covers and foil.
Transport and storage on the wall opposite the inspection
panels is required.
During horizontal transport the air handling unit set must
be xed in such a way that it does not move in case of sud
-
den movement.
Unloading from the transport vehicle and transport to the
building site is done manually with the use of a pallet-lift
truck or forklift truck.
It is not recommended to transport or store the EVO-T+
units by placing them on one of the side panels.
The units are protected with a polyethylene foil for
transport, which must be removed immediately after
placing the units in a closed room. Leaving the foiled
equipment outside may result in deterioration of the
quality of the galvanized sheet surface (the so-called
zinc white), which results in the loss of warranty.
The units should be stored in covered and closed rooms.
The units should be protected against unauthorized access.
The units must be stored on a level surface to prevent the
structure from tilting and the consequent unsealing of the
unit.
Storage conditions:
maximum relative air humidity of <80% in a tempera
-
ture of 20ºC
temperature from -20°C to +40°C
no caustic dusts, gases and fumes and chemically active
substances with corrosive properties.
Please check the content of the packag-
ing as soon as the product is delivered.
Device installation In order to determine
an appropriate location of the unit it is
necessary to consider access require-
ments for operation and service activi-
ties as well as appropriate connection of
water and electrical supplies.
7. INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT
7.1 Mounting of the unit
When deciding where to install the appliance, attention
should be paid to the ease of access for maintenance and
servicing, and the correctness of the water and electricity
installations.
The unit should be mounted in a way as to ensure connec-
tion to outer installations (ventilation ducts, pipelines, ca-
ble tracks), avoiding collision with inspection panels.
In order to facilitate assembly, operation and servicing of
the units and renewal of elements and subassemblies in
case of failure, it is necessary to maintain appropriate spac-
es between the servicing side and xed elements of the
rooms development (walls, load-bearing columns, binders
etc.).
The above-mentioned spaces are also recommended be
-
cause of the outer sizes of the elements of the ttings sup-
plying the heaters and coolers, and should not be smaller
than 500 mm.
If the above recommendations are not followed and there
is no space for service activities, it may be necessary to
disconnect the air handling unit from utilities and to disas-
semble the entire unit. Possible disassembly is not included
in the service and warranty activities of the manufacturer
and it should be performed by the applicant or the user of
the facility.
The EVO-T+ can only be installed in ventilated rooms with
ambient temperature between +5°C, and the lowest rela-
tive humidity possible (up to 30%) in winter, and the tem-
perature not exceeding +45°C and relative humidity up to
60% in summer. The AHU should not be installed in aggres-
sive environment, which could be harmful for external and
internal mechanical elements of the unit.
The EVO-T+ AHU is not designed for dehumidication
of non-seasoned (not dry) buildings and rooms. In such
cases dedicated dehumidication equipment should
be used.
When using recuperation units with high eciency heat re-
covery systems, to ensure ecient performance according
to EN 308 and EUROVENT, it is recommended to preheat
the air at outdoor air temperatures below 0oC. Otherwise
the unit may not operate within its intended parameters
and condensation may occur.
The anti-frost protection system is activated if the behind
recovery (B4) temperature drops below the setting (+5 °C)
and operates in continuous mode. The air supply and air
exhaust fans keep operating in line with the requested pa-
rameters If output of preliminary heating is not sucient
to melt the frost, then the air supply fan output will be re-
duced or even, in extreme conditions, it will be shut down.
Protecting the system using the AHU control system with
-
out preliminary heating up of external air at temperatures
below 0°C may be used only for immediate purposes.
