NOTE! Recommended heat exchanger replacement
interval is about 2 years, depending on operation con-
ditions Removing the heat exchanger in the recupera-
tor requires 2 persons.
Order of operations:
1. Disconnect the power supply to the control panel, open
the inspection cover.
Remove the inspection cover once the
fans stop.
2. Disconnect the condensate drainage pipe and make sure
it has drained completely o the tray.
3. Remove the drip tray and the heat exchanger protection.
(applicable for suspended version only)
4. Dismantle the centre post.
5. Unscrew the exchanger support bar on one side holding
the exchanger in place so that it does not fall out.
6. Carefully pull out the heat exchanger!
5. Clean the heat exchanger using warm water (max. 50
o
C)
with standard detergent. Then rinse with clean water and
dry.
6. Proceed in the same way with the second exchanger.
7. Install the elements in reversal order. Before inserting the
heat exchanger, replace the gaskets if needed.
9.6 Cleaning of the RR rotary exchanger.

Cleaning of the rotary exchanger consists in blowing the depo-
sit with compressed air.
After opening the cover half of the rotor wheels are accessi-
ble. In order to access the remaining surfaces it is necessary
to rotate manually each wheel half a turn. It is also possible
to disassemble the rotary exchanger module, which will al-
low amore thorough maintenance. Before re-inserting the
module, replace the gaskets if needed.
9.7 Maintenance of remaining elements.
1. Each time the lid is open, check the ow of the condensa-
te drainage from the drip tray and the siphon ll.
Occluded drainage or/and empty siphon will lead to the o-
oding of the recuperator and leaking water outside the device.
2. Every 1-2 years, wipe the inspection cover gaskets, lubri-
cate with silicone oil.
