1. GENERAL INFORMATION
The subject matter of this study is the Operation and Main-
tenance Manual for the the EVO-T+ compact suspended
modular air conditioning and ventilation units with
counter-current/rotary exchanger, manufactured by
KLIMOR.
The purpose of the OMM [Operation and Maintenance
Manual] is to familiarise installers and users with the con-
struction as well as correct servicing and operation of the
unit.
Prior to installing and operating the unit, you should read
through this Operation and Maintenance Manual and
follow strictly the guidelines and recommendations con-
tained herein. Guidelines and recommendations contained
in this manual have to be followed, otherwise the manufac-
turer’s warranty liability does not apply.
In case of introducing changes which have not been
agreed with the manufacturer or in case of using non-origi-
nal parts, the manufacturer’s warranty liability expires.
The assembly, commissioning and maintenance can be
carried out only by specialists with appropriate experience
and valid certication. Operations involving electric sys
-
tems and components can be carried out only by an elec-
trician with valid certication. Follow all local regulations
during completion of electrical works.
Removing, bridging or switching o in any other way the
EVO-T+ controller monitoring functions + is not permitted.
Operation of the device which is not fully functional is not
permitted.
Warning signs – voltage is also present at connection
terminals when the device is switched o/cover is removed.
Disconnect the power lead before starting any works.
Failing to observe the guidelines and
recommendations contained in Opera-
tion and Maintenance manual exempts
the manufacturer from any warranty-re-
lated obligations.
2. TECHNICAL DATA AND USE
Compact air handling unit EVO-T+ with CPR coun-
terow heat exchanger or RR rotary heat exchanger is
asmall-size unit designed for ventilation systems with heat
recovery of all types of premises such as: shops, restaurants,
laundries, residential buildings, detached houses, etc. Op-
tionally, in the intake section, it can be factory-equipped
with an – electric or water secondary heater. The unit has
a full bypass (100%) of the counterow exchanger. The unit
operates with the use of outdoor air. It is powered with
electric energy.
To maintain comfort temperature of supply air at external
air temperatures <0°C, it uses electric pre-heater. To heat
up intake (fresh external) air can be used ground heat ex-
changer (GHEX).
For supply and exhaust EVO-T+ air handling units, the air
ow can be realized in a system of parallel (code P) or cross
(code C) air ows.
2.1 Operating range
The EVO-T+ unit is a device designed for ventilation with
heat recovery in one or more rooms in smaller buildings.
Types of applications mentioned in the above paragraph
Exhausted air, after ltration and heat being recovered
from it in the heat exchanger, is removed outside of the
building. At the same time fresh air is sucked in – once l-
tered and heated up in the heat exchanger it is directed to
rooms being ventilated.
THE EVO-T+ UNIT CAN BE USED TO HEAT AND/OR COOL
THE AIR IN ROOMS BEING VENTILATED ONLY IF ADDI-
TIONAL HEAT EXCHANGERS (HEATERS AND/OR COOL-
ERS) ARE INSTALLED.
THE EVO-T+ AHU IS NOT DESIGNED FOR DEHUMIDI-
FICATION OF NON-SEASONED (NOT DRY) BUILDINGS
AND ROOMS. IF IT IS NECESSARY TO DRY THE ROOM,
SEPARATE DEHUMIDIFICATION EQUIPMENT SHOULD
BE USED. IF IT IS NECESSARY TO DRY THE ROOM, SEP-
ARATE DEHUMIDIFICATION EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE
USED.
2.2 Operation guidelines
The unit is designed for ventilation purposes only. Only
can be used for the purpose of supply air which does not
contain any harmful, ammable, explosive, aggressive, cor-
rosive or otherwise dangerous additives. The laboratory or
vacuum cleaning air exhaust systems or vapor extraction
systems cannot be connected to the air exhaust system.
2.3 Installation location
The EVO-T+ unit can only be installed in ventilated rooms
with ambient temperature +5°C and the lowest relative hu-
midity possible (up to 30%) in winter, and the temperature
not exceeding +45°C and relative humidity up to 60% in
summer.
The installation location must have suitable conditions al-
lowing appropriate condensate drainage.
