MPAC 1500
controller display is
blank.
Are any LEDs on the
controller illuminated?
Verify power directly
on circuit board P1-12 and
P1-4 (Normal), and P1-6 and
P1-7 (Emergency).
Inspect the
ribbon cable. Is the ribbon
cable connected incorrectly?
Unplug the ribbon cable and reconnect it
correctly.
Replace the display assembly, which
includes attached ribbon cable.

Replace the Main Logic Board (MLB).
Trace leads back to the
contactor and sensing
terminals. Refer to the wiring
diagrams provided with the
transfer switch. Repair or
replace damaged leads or
harness.

Poor pin connection or
broken wire at P1. Correct
the pin or wire connection.

Check for display operation.
Does the display operate?
Is the ribbon cable
damaged?

Note: To prevent damage to the controller and the device, NEVER
remove or reapply devices while the controller is energized. Follow
the safety precautions during this troubleshooting procedure.
Complete.
Verify power to the ATS.
Check AC line voltage at P1-12(A)
and P1-4(C) for the normal source.
Check AC line voltage at P1-7(A)
and P1-6(C) for the emergency
source. Line voltage found
at all points?
